Much like the fortified wine that gives Marsala its name,this tasteful hue embodies opulence while its red-brown roots emanate a sophisticated natural earthiness.

Personally, for me, Marsala conjures up images of warm exotic spices and a varied palette of colour such as aubergine, luxurious berry reds, deep jewel tones and vibrant burgundy.

Marsala certainly makes a strong colour base for wedding inspiration, in fact the more you look at it, the more you love it and all that warmth and beauty is undoubtedly hard to ignore.
